     1 Source Realty welcomes Cheryl Nichols as our newest associate! A licensed real estate agent since 1993, Cheryl brings with her a wealth of knowledge and experience as well as a refreshing, down to earth personality. A native of Western North Carolina, Cheryl grew up in Hendersonville, graduated from A. C. Reynolds and now lives with her husband, Jim Nichols, a former Fairview Firefighter/EMT ("The Tall One") on their mini-farm on Garren Creek Road. They enjoy caring for their horses, chickens and more. They have a son and daughter, plus what Cheryl describes as the world's BEST granddaughter! Cheryl enjoys working with first time buyers and sellers and says she might give a dozen of their farm fresh eggs to anyone who lists or buys through her!

Elizabeth brings 16 years of customer service along with a strong desire to help families realize their dreams.   Born in Elizabethtown, NC, Elizabeth spent all of her summers and holidays in Fairview at her Grandparents, Mr.  & Mrs.  Chap Noble.   Moving here at the age of 16, she is a graduate of A.C. Reynolds and has worked in the insurance industry in various positions from data entry to management.   Elizabeth decided real estate is where she wanted to be.   With such a strong customer service background, great knowledge of the area, and experience with building, real estate is the perfect place for her.  Elizabeth and her husband, David Akins, have a blended family of three daughters (Lindsey, Jordan, and Brannon) and live in Fairview.  If she can’t find your dream home, David can build it as he is a General Contractor with over 30 years experience.

Joe has been in real estate since 1996, was with Prudential from April of 1998 until January of 2009, and began with 1 Source Realty in January of 2009. Joe is a two-time past President of the Fairview Business Association, a past President of the Western North Carolina Regional Multiple Listing Service, a past President of the Asheville Board of REALTORS® Services, a two-time past Treasurer of the Asheville Board of REALTORS®, a past Director of the NC Association of REALTORS® and has served in many other positions at the Board.
